Margie Baxter McLarty passed away at the age of 86 at Tanner Medical Center, Villa Rica.

She was predeceased by her parents, Lucious Baxter and Lola Cole Baxter, and her siblings, Jackie Baxter, Gene Baxter, and Jimmy Baxter.

Margie and Raymond were married in 1962.

She was born in Dallas, GA, on February 28, 1935, the daughter of the late Lucious Baxter and the late Lola Cole Baxter. Her earlier years were spent in Dallas, moving to the Villa Rica area in 1961. Her greatest joys were her home, husband, grandsons, and great-granddaughter. She loved camping and RVing, yard sales and thrifting, planting flowers in her yard, watching the Braves, and was exceptionally good at crossword puzzles. She also had a catering business for some time and enjoyed cake decorating. She was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church in Buchanan, GA, and attended the Adult Sunday School Class. She will be missed by her family and many friends but will be remembered, with a smile, for the beautiful memories she leaves behind.
