The 1st is a rounded, upright stone that reads IN MEMORY OF D.S. Ragan with his birth and death dates.
The 2nd is a government-issued gray granite upright headstone from the SCV.

The 1870 US Federal Census records Daniel and Margaret living in Villa Rica with their children. Daniel works on the farm, and Margaret works at home.
The Ragan family lived with David and Martha Harper and their children.
