Headstone Repaired

LEATHERWOOD PRE FIX Oct.JPG
LEATHERWOOD HOLE.JPG

I dug out the spot where the headstone was, laid in the
gravel and leveled the base.

Leatherwood's headstone had a broken corner and needed the base leveled.

I epoxied the corner to the headstone and while that cured, mixed the mortar for the base.

I dry set the headstone in the base to ensure it was
level. Then I poured the mortar and used the clamps
and boards to hold everything together while
it dried.
It sat for three days before I removed

the clamps.

Once the mortar was set, I infilled the cracks along the back of the headstone.
